Registration and login are required to submit items online and to check the status of current submissions.

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. Prepare your manuscript to follow the detailed journal submission guideline as described below. Note that we prevent the plagiarism in published manuscripts by participating CrossCheck (http://www.crossref.org/crosscheck.html).
  2. Verify that your manuscript has not been published by nor is under review at another journal or as a book or book chapter.
  3. The submission file is in Microsoft Word or Hanword(Hangul) file format.
  4. List all references cited in References section. Ensure that references are complete, match text, and follow the journal format.
  5. Check all electronic documents for viruses.
  6. All the bibliographies, figures, and tables must be written in English.
  7. [Accepted Papers]

    • Prepare electronic version of manuscript in Word or Hanword(Hangul) for PC.
    • Prepare electronic version of author biographies and digital photos.
    • Prepare the original figures files that are used in the paper.
    • Check that the manuscript contains all author names, affiliation, full address, and e-mail.
    • Corresponding or primary author must sign a Copyright Agreement before paper can be
      published.
  8. [Submission Guidelines for Manuscript]

    1. Manuscripts should be submitted via online manuscript submission system of The Journal of Society for e-Business Studies followed by submission guideline. Inquiries can be directed to chief editor(journal@calsec.or.kr) or JSEBS office(sec@calsec.or.kr).
    2. All Manuscript is referred as electronic document written in either Korean or English as a rule. The page size should be A4, line spacing should be 180% or more, or be double spaced and leave enough space on all sides.
    3. Information regarding the title of the manuscript, corresponding author and co-authors should be indicated in the cover page. Author information includes name, degree/position, affiliation. Each should be in both Korean and English. Corresponding author or contact author should present full postal address, contact number, fax number and e-mail address.
    4. All authors can disclose any financial support and funding source(s) in the cover page.
    5. The following page should not include author information. It presents the title of the manuscript, abstract with a total of 200 words maximum, keywords. The main text, reference, appendix is followed in order. The title, abstract and keywords must include both Korean and English.
    6. Numbers conformed to chapter or clause should be written as Arabic number, respectively, for example, 1., 1.1, etc. In case of equations, numbering should be made, for example, (1), (2), etc.
    7. All Figures should be entitled as <Figure 1>, etc. and the title of the figure should be placed below the figure and the text should be center aligned. All tables should be entitled as <Table 1> and should be placed above the table with the text being center aligned. The context of figure and table should be written in English.
    8. Footnote and endnote should not be used.
    9. Academic term is encouraged to be used in Korean however, in case of difficulties lies in translation, and also able to add English term in the parentheses.
    10. Proper noun including name, place name, should be written in the original language, numbers as Arabic number.
    11. Referred literature in the main text should be numbered as presented in Reference and indicate by using a bracket([]). <Example> ~~ done[1].
    12. References should be written according to following rules.
      (1) References should be listed in alphabetical order.
      (2) For journals, references should be listed in following order; author, title, journal name, volume number, issue number, page number, publication year and for books, references should be listed in following order; author, book title, page number, publisher, publication year.

    13. For manuscript accepted for publication, corresponding author should submit following documents.
      (1) Electronic document containing cover page of the paper and main text in accordance with submission guideline
      (2) Electronic document containing author introduction (e-mail, brief profile, interested research field)
      (3) Image file for figure used in manuscript and photo image file of author
    14. Corresponding author should pay the publication fee before publishing the paper. Charges for review and publication is determined separately. 
    15. For urgent submission with special occasion among accepted papers, urgent submission can be done with the permission from editorial board of journal. In this case, author should pay additional charges for urgent submission.


  9. [Editorial Policy]

    1. Journal refers to a paper related to electronic business and its application and publish papers which contributes in development of scholarship and industry or acknowledged of its creativity.
    2. Paper contributor should principally be a member of corresponding society. Although, co-author with the member and invited author is to be an exception.
    3. Published paper should not be presented or reviewed for publication in other journals from internal and overseas in advance and should not be published redundantly in other journals.
    4. Paper contributor should comply with society’s research ethic regulation and once the published paper is judged to violate it, one should respect the decision of research ethics committee and actively conform with the decision.
    5. Veto can be made toward manuscript which do not comply to submission policy.
    6. Ultimate responsibility for a context of published paper engage in corresponding author.
    7. Manuscript is frequently received and the arrived date of manuscript to editorial board is to be a received date.
    8. For accepted paper, editorial board goes through the discussion and reviewing from more than three reviewer is made as principle.
    9. Identity of reviewer delegated in review process and author is to be kept confidential.
    10. If all reviewer agrees on recommending a reviewed paper to be published, the publication of corresponding paper is confirmed, however if not, editorial board will decide and process.
    11. Editorial board can request an editing of the paper to contributor according to a review result.
    12. Editorial board can reject the paper in the following case.
      (1) Inadequate adjudge as a review result
      (2) No response from contributor within the period of two months after requesting revision
    13. Received date, revised date, published date is to be clarified regarding the published paper.
    14. Publicity of the paper published in this society is owned by corresponding society. However, responsibility of copyright-related issue is to be charged by author.
    15. Accepted paper is principally not to be vetoed for the time being. However, in case of withdrawing a submission, recant request should be made via letter or e-mail, etc. and get approve from editorial board.
    16. It is made a rule to publish a journal four times a year(February 28th, May 31st, August 31st, November 30th).
