Focus and Scope

The Journal of Society for e-Business Studies is an official journal of the Korean Society for e-Business Studies since 1996.
It is a refereed journal dedicated to disseminating the research and practice of electronic business. It aims to offer an integrated and inter-disciplinary view of the diverse fields in electronic business.
The journal accepts articles, tutorials, or state-of-the-art papers that provide a novel contribution to the field, including but not limited to the followings: 

- experimental or theoretical research on e-business models and policy; 
- design or application on organizational and industrial transformation with e-business; 
- computer and information technology for e-business infrastructure.

Peer Review Process

All manuscripts are double-blind peer-reviewed by at least 3 anonymous reviewers selected by the editor. Once the manuscript is accepted for publication, authors should go through the Authors’ Check List, and provide the final manuscript along with the Copyright Transfer.

 

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

 

Abstracting and Indexing Services

A part of articles, metadata, or full text is available from KCI(Korea Citation Index), NDSL(National Discovery for Science Leaders), DBpia, KOFST, DOI/Crossref, Google Scholar and The National Assembly Library of the Republic of Korea

 

Advertising Policies

This Journal accepts advertisements on the following basis:

1. Eligibility of the advertised products or services
All products or services should be safe and reliable, and not cause any harm to the health and welfare of humans. Advertisements may promote information and technologies relevant to authors, editors, reviewers, and readers.

2. Orders
Any individuals or organizations who are interested in advertising their products or services in the print copies of the journal or on its website are encouraged to contact the editorial office. The acceptance of advertisements will be discussed by the editorial board and will be ultimately approved by the publisher.

3. Advertisement fee
For one print copy issue, the advertisement price for one whole page is USD 1000 (or KRW 1,000,000). If the advertisement is half a page, the price is reduced by half.

4. Disclaimer
Liability: Neither the publisher nor the editors will be legally liable for advertisements presented in the journal. In addition, they cannot guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of the information provided.

Research and Publication Ethics

The authorship should include those who have made substantial contributions to a study such as formulating the problem or hypothesis, structuring the study, designing and conducting the empirical analysis, interpreting the results.
This journal adheres to the ethical guidelines for research and publication described in Guidelines on Good Publication(http://publicationethics.org/resources/guidelines).
In case of any kind of misconduct such as fabrication, falsification, and plagiarism, significant penalties such as warning, or deprivation of membership shall be imposed on all authors.
